15th of April 2007The OTB Mile, OTB Events first out of many upcoming events, took place this weekend at the Oanob Dam.
The comfortable water temperatures and sunny morning attracted more than 50 participants, including one dog! Two laps of 800 meters is what the Mile swimmers had to complete, one lap for those who chose to do the ½ Mile.
The Mile was won by Byron Briedenhann one second (!) faster than Tristan McDonald. For the Females, Jonay Briedenhann took the trophy, closely followed by Ilka Preschel and Corinna Wahl. Here are all the results. Congratulations to all these top swimmers!
